Algernon Alexander Malcolm

Rev. Algernon Alexander Malcolm was born on Grand Turk, Turks and Caicos Islands. He came to Nassau at the age of 16 as a professional cricketer in 1964. The Lord called him into ministry as a young man shortly after. He obeyed the call and enrolled in the Island Missionaries Bible School graduating three years later. He is also a graduate of The Baptist Training College.

Pastor Malcolm served as a missionary on the island of San Salvador and then returned to Nassau to serve as the Assistant Pastor of Carmichael Bible Church under pastor Ed Godet. At the age of 26 he became the Pastor of Carmichael Bible Church. After serving in the ministry for 25 years he joined Abundant Life Bible Church in 1989.

Pastor Malcolm is also involved in global organizations such as the Billy Graham Association and became the Superintendent of the Bahamas Evangelical Church Association. He is most distinguished for his work in Visitation and Discipleship. Pastor Malcolm currently serves as the Care Ministry Pastor for Abundant Life Bible Church.
